What started as a Facebook live video of Presidential Communications Operations Office Asec. Mocha Uson to fire back at her critics from all the bashing of her award from University of Santo Tomas Alumni Association Inc., became the talk of the town in social media from her remark that Mayon Volcano is in Naga.
Asking her critics not to make her award an issue and instead focus on much more important topics, like the Dengvaxia controversy, the issue of Sen. Drillon allegedly receiving money from Janet Lim-Napoles, and of course, the eruption of Mayon Volcano that she mistakenly stated to be in Naga.

"Bayanihan" is often represented visually as a group or community of people moving the house of one of its members from one place to another, but here is a rare photo of a community moving the Mayon Volcano from Albay to Naga in Cam Sur.

Because of how it trended online, celebrities reacted to Mocha’s statement too!
And even one particular netizen created Mayon Volcano’s very own account in the Twitterverse.
Because of how viral her mistake was, the tags Mocha Uson and Naga trended on Twitter in the Philippines. But don’t be too quick to judge. Mocha retracted her wrong statement and apologized for her mistake.
“Trending nga po tayo dahil diyan sa nakakatawang issue, ‘yang pagkakamali ko na ang bulkang Mayon ay nasa Naga. Okay, pasensya po, inaamin ko po na nagkakamali ako, okay, pasensya na po, ayan,” she said.
She also urged the public to help those in Albay since the issue has become such a hot topic. This really shows how one mistake can blow up in unexpected ways. What do you think about this? Share your thoughts with us below!
